MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Play On is the third performance at Ladysmith Little Theatre (LLT) since the Covid-19 Pandemic began nearly three years ago. The performance is filled with the humour, terror and confusion of staging a murder mystery performance, much like the experience our wonderful talented actors from the local community as volunteers have displayed performing, maybe for the first time; amidst the health crisis caused by the Pandemic. Bravo!! We are much appreciative of you, our wonderful and loyal patrons that have also endured hardship during the past three years. We are thrilled that you have arrived at our theatre to continue the enjoyment that comes from Community Theatre. Welcome back and thank you for your dedication.

The LLT is a non-profit organization fully operated by 100% volunteers. Besides being an audience member, there are many ways you can participate within the little theatre. We are always welcoming of new talents from “on stage”, “behind the scenes”, membership to board of directors. Volunteers at LLT find rewarding friendships and experiences. Another way to participate is through donations. As a recognized federal charity, we provide tax receipts for all donations over $20. And your financial assistance goes to further improvements to your theatre experience.

I would also like to thank our corporate sponsors and program advertisers. Revenue from advertising provides the funding to market and promote the theatre and our productions. We value the continual support of community theatre in Ladysmith.
